The Sims 3 Store: prices and items PDF Print

An article published on Simmer News reports the prices of a few objects of the Sims 3 Store, that is, the official EA online store where you can purchase exclusive contents for your game once the game is released.

A few weeks ago, when EA published an official press release announcing all the online contents and tools, we found out that when buying the game we'll get 1000 SimPoints (SimPoints is the official currency of the Store) to spend on the site, that corresponds to 10$ (then, 1$ = 10 SimPoints, the same value a SP has on the Sims 2 Store).

What we didn't know, though, was the price of each object or objects set, but thanks to Simmers News we can now start doing a bit of accounting and see what it worths to buy and what doesn't. Surely, if you buy a whole set you'll save some money, but with only 1000SP there isn't much to purchase: the only collection available for this amount is the Tiki Set, which looks totally like The Sims 2 Bon Voyage's, and includes 15 items. All the other sets are between 1450 and 2000SP, that is, 14,50$ and 20$, and include from 35 to 47 items each. If you consider that, in USD, a Sims 2 Stuff Pack carrying 60 items costs 20$, you'll realize that Sims 3 Store is not that cheap...
