We decided to create this article as we would like to make things clear, because - at least for now - it is nothing but a rumor and there's nothing official about it. Rumors circulate everywhere and can regard a huge range of features, but all that glitters is not gold. When an EP is about to be released, news spread all over the web, but the sites you can rely on are a very few and well-known, as you can see from the sources we report in our articles. Also, we always publish news that actually have a source and we always make a few checks before publishing. So, take everything you read with a grain of salt, especially if the article's source is not available!

For now, the EP that mixes Pets and Seasons together is nothing but a wish, we will be able to see if it's true or not only when information about the real incoming The Sims 3 expansion will be released...as for us, we can only repeat what we've been told during the event in Milan on last September. When asked if there was the weather in Late Night, producer Melanie Lam answered that “they wanted to introduce it, but it would turn out to be a very marginal feature in that EP”. Of course, we don't know if there will be the weather in the next expansion, nor we want to draw any conclusion, that's just what we've been told. Even this rumor needs a confirmation!
