Despite The Sims 2' pets, whose behavior was mainly a reaciont to your Sim's attitude, in The Sims 3 Pets you can fully control your pets. The main focus of this EP is to see the world through the eyes of a pet, and act consequently. Cats, for example, can bring home a little surprise for you and leave it on your doorstep (a lizard? a mice?)
Stray pets can show up at your house during the night!
You can customize you horse's mane as you wish, from a zebra-ish style to a more ..psychedelic pattern (take a look at minute 1.59");
The new neighborhood introduced with The Sims 3 Pets will be country-styled with ranches and barns. It will be great to watch Sims riding horses in the town!
You will be able to fully control only dogs, cats and horses. Other pets (snakes, birds, rodents) will be independent.
Also, we confirm that the final release date has been officially set for October, 18 2011 (USA) - 20/21 (EU)
