Producer Graham Nardone tweeted an interesting detail about The Sims 3 Pets, which created a controversy: there is no wildlife in Bridgeport. This choice, that sounds nonsensical to some players, derives from a very understandable consideration: it would be weird to see raccoons and deers among the skyscrapers of the town, as well as a wild horse in Manhattan.

By looking at a neighborhood's icon, however, you can check if it has wild animals or not. If it's the same of Sunset Valley, made up of three small houses, you'll get wildlife. If it's the same of Bridgeport, with skyscrapers and building, you won't. Check out this article by TheBlackScorpion on SimPrograms to find out more.
