There are some different steps you can consider to create custom pattern:

• Analyze what Create a style offer to you and how patterns work
• Create your pattern by an editing image software. It is the hardest part, you need to separate the texture into an interval 1-4 of RGB channel
• Create the pattern package
• Install and test your pattern
