A game update (version 1.1) has been released to fix a few Store content bugs.
This Store update includes the following changes:
- Fixed an incompatibility issue with Lady Ravendancer Goth's Book o' Spells and the Fountain of Youth.
- Fixed an issue where the Tree of Prosperity would occasionally become frozen when switching configurations.
- Fixed an issue where cats would become frozen when jumping on the Overly General Dining Chair.
- Fixed an issue where the visual effects for the PlasmaTron TV were showing up in the wrong location.
- Fixed an issue where the Simetry Seater was incorrectly placed in the Kitchen - Counters section in Buy Mode.

A new patch has just been released and updates the game to version 1.33. Here's the list of the changes:
- Some art updates
- Stability improvements
- Sims saved with game update 1.32 that exhibit overly dark textures

Wow, that was fast! Not more than 48hrs ago, SimGuruSNelson announced the upcoming release of a new patch to fix the custom content issue when sending a Sim throught the SimPort. This update brings the game to version 1.32, and it's available on the Sims 3 Launcher.

The Sims 3 Showtime will be available in a few days, and it's now time to update your game to the latest game version. There's a new patch that brings the game to version 1.31, introducing all the social features of Showtime. Please remember that you can choose to disable these features at anytime.

Yesterday, EA Games released a new patch for The Sims 3, that brings the game to version 1.29.
This update fixes a huge list of bugs and issues, most of them related to The Sims 3 Pets, but also adds some new items: four trees and a new terrain paint!
Moreover, if you play with the Shop Mode enabled, with this patch you'll be notified (when in Buy Mode) for every special deal available at the Sims 3 Store.

Due to the release of The Sims 3 Pets, a new update has been released, that brings the game to version 1.26 for Windows and 1.27 for Mac.
You can download it through the Launcher; after the jump, you can find the list of bugs fixed by this update and what to do before installing it.
Important: we've been warned that this patch is not compatible with many CC items, probably because they're missing the new pet functions. We recommend you again to make a backup copy of your data before installing the patch and/or avoid updating for the moment (even though the same issue should appear with the final EP).

The first update (version 1.0) for the Store content has been released. It involves only three items for now:
- Faire Ceiling Lamp: The ceiling lights will fade away when zooming in.
- Mysterious Deep Space Pods: The ceiling lights will fade away when zooming in.
- Too Literal Tea Ceiling Light: The ceiling lights will fade away when zooming in.
