The Sims 3, like The Sims and The Sims 2, features a series of expansion packs that improve the gameplay, adding new interactions for Sims (expansion packs) or sets of objects, clothing etc. (stuff packs).
Stuff packs (sometimes called bonus packs) are small expansion that usually do not add new interactions but only sets of items like furniture, clothes, hairstyles and so on.
Usually, a new expansion pack or stuff pack is released every six months. Stuff packs are usually published in between two expansion packs, so that a new Sims product is released every 3/4 months (i.e. expansion pack/stuff pack/expansion pack/stuff pack etc).

 The Sims 3 High-end Loft Stuff
The Sims 3 High-end Loft Stuff is the first stuff pack for The Sims 3, released in February 2010.
It features modern-style furnishing and clothing plus a few bonus to celebrate 10 years from The Sims' release, such as the vibrating lovebed, the electric guitar and the fish-tank.
There are some new interactions related to the aquarium, but it doesn't add features to the gameplay - only objects.
